Before I arrived at Vilcabamba I had no idea
of this location. I just wanted to get to know another reality,
another health care system, another life. Furthermore I had
finished the first big exam of my medical degree and I wanted to
convent my knowledge.
First I thought no I am arriving at the
middle of nowhere. But quick I became a huge fan of this place
and his awesome people who accommodated me quick and lovingly.
Sure not everything was nice. But this was
because of the situation of the people. There is a lot of
poverty which caused me a lot of problems with my conscience.
Why do I have another standard of life just
because of being born in another part of the world? And other
similar questions ...
But I recognized quickly that I can help a
lot with few things and that the work was satisfying me.
I hope that I can return soon after finishing
my medicine degree so that I can help more.
Finally I just want advice everybody to make
this experiences because I will never forget it!
